Posted by Charles G on Wed Apr 8 23:14:57 2020 Starting Monday 4/13, going to an hourly schedule on both weekdays and weekends.Metro North I was surprised that they were running as much service as they had been for the past two weeks. They note that ridership is down more than 95%. LIRR seems to be keeping their "essential service" at current levels. |

They blindly went to weekend schedules, which is fine, but Montauk schedules are designed for weekend tourists to the Hamptons.Greenport service is equally useless. Only a day trip from the city the North Fork and back is possible. The dominant flow of traffic would be just the opposite for Essential workers. |
