I hope these are real cleanings and not the farce they did in New York with a 6x6 restaurant rag and spray bottle and no protection.

I wonder if the rest of these obvious tasks were being done for a while, or if this is a 3 months after the fact change.

It sounds like the SEPTA method of frequently spraying the cars and buses with some sort of sanitizer/disinfectant would be a good idea for NY. Trains at stub terminals could be shut down for a cleaning within the station and at places like 168 St or Ctl where trains relay, the trains could be sanitized on the relay track.

If they're not doing that, they are the only agency in the world ignoring sanitation.
