Sounds reasonable

So:
3 to Kings Plaza via Utica 24/7 (obviously, KP didn't exist back then, just using a logical current terminus)
4 to Newlots 24/7
2 to Flatbush 24/7
5 to Flatbush weekdays, otherwise Bowling Green, midnights shuttle to E. 180 St

(based on current routings)

Yeah, I see that. The Brooklyn IRT was poorly designed. (I know it's in basically an unfinished state).

That's Track M. It connects the upper and lower levels, and ends just outside the portal as you saw in the video. The southernmost section of track (outside the portal) is out of service due to track defects, so the trains relaying don't go that far anymore.

If you watch the Lo-V video again, the track you're on goes down to the lower level at the portal, and then swings left to go underneath the southbound track, meaning Track M is now above you on the right inside the tunnel.

Shortly after entering the tunnel, you see a train laid-up on what will become the northbound express track. As you move forward, you see that track move off to the right to make room for Track M to ramp down from the upper level. And just before you enter Crown Heights - Utica Avenue, you see a (4) train coming down Track M and entering the station.
