They really need to do this on one week where the run is on Saturday from 4:00 PM-Midnight to accommodate those who on Sunday are tied up with football, especially with fantasy football being big and sports betting outside New York being legal. |

It would be helpful (especially for those who don't know the system very well) if the MTA specified either "upper level" or "lower level" for the West 4 St stop. All the downtown trips will be via 6 Av and use the lower level, but on some days the uptown trips will use 8 Av and the upper level. People waiting for the train at W4 St need to know in advance where to wait. |

Last year, even though it ran on 6th Avenue (then over to 8th), the train time clocks called it an A, even though it seemed much more D-ish to me.Maybe this year, they can call it an A when on 8th exclusively and a D when on 6th. |

That too (and yes, most of the runs should still be on Sundays).The one Saturday night would be for those who can't do it on Sunday (and it would be at night so those who observe the Jewish Sabbath can go after that ends). I would do it the weekend of the Army-Navy game because that is the last week the NFL can't play on Saturday and there are no college games besides that one and a handful of FCS playoff games. And I don't think you realize how big business fantasy football now is and how much sports betting has become. The NFL is the 800-pound gorilla of sports for a reason. |
