Day in the Life

Posted by cortelyounext on Thu Nov 7 18:23:18 2019

T/O Paul Quinones speaks eloquently of moving trains and photography, passions both. His difficulty coping with and recovering from 12-9 is discussed.

Excellent! He's to be admired for his honesty and openness, and he's very articulate about all the aspects of his job and hobby.

After a 12-9, does a t/o remain on paid leave for as long as it takes to recover and return to work? Is there a time limit?

I thought bus operators wore that type of sweater/jacket, not train operators.

Very good video. As the late great Selkirk used to say, " The Best way to cure foaming is to work for the TA.". My uncle was a Trainmaster and his son a Motorman. My other uncle was also a Motorman. Somehow I ended up in the wingolet industry!

It’s just a zip up commando sweater, conductors, motormen, and motor instructors also have the option of wearing them.

Clifton Jones. His brother George Jones mostly worked on the 7 line.

I knew him. When he was still a T/D he broke me in.
