Thank you very much, Sand Box John Looks like the RR was raised 8", I see 8"I beams on the bridge supports........They replaced the protection beam 8" higher lifted the bridge girders, put 8" of 2" plate on top of the bearing points, bolted everything down, added ballast, regraded and tamped the aproches, cleaned and painted all of the steel and exposed concrete. The passenger trains that use the line went through with minor delays during process. There are a several video on youtube of the razing process done by person that shot this and another person. At least it will be around forever on You Tube.It still an under height bridge. The protection beam is still in place along with the over height detection and warning sign.
