Service in Ocean City will later be extended along 8th Street to the Boardwalk. The book on B&QT trolley lines in Queens County shows the Junction Blvd trolley line being Junction AVENUE. Does any one know when the avenue was upgraded to a boulevard and how did it coordinate timewise with the upgrading of Ditmars, Astoria, Lefferts and possibly a few others from avenues to boulevards? |

If you check nycsubway.org's historical maps for 1939, you will note that the BMT map still called the station Junction Ave whereas it was Junction Blv on the IRT map. |
