New trolleys

This article is from Jan. , 2018. I'm guessing it is still valid.

it's the wait and see moments that get me.

On another note,Philly's 'Highline' would have made a better subway extension than another Park.

I wonder who pressured SEPTA to take possession of the City Branch ROW to begin with. Soon after the transfer took place the whole transit reuse idea just kinda faded away. Not too long after that the Philadelphia School District built an addition onto the Administration Building at Broad Street completely blocking the former Reading alignment. The building in question is the windowless structure across Broad from the former RDG diner which will be the welcome center to the park:

Can anyone here imagine the court battle between the City & the gang at 1234 Market St. should SEPTA want that 20ft easement back on behalf of Friends of the Rail Park? Even if they still own it?

The entire Administration building is ugly. I wonder if that annex was built before SEPTA took title to the land. Just sayin'....

If and when they find the money in the couch cushions. Same as the new MUs for the railroad side.
