Extension of overpass at the western end of Jamaica station. Closeup of Oyster Bay train Escalator pit and stairway to Airtrain terminal Unfortunately, construction blocks the view of Airtrain. Here's the Airtrain terminal and platform construction.(March 2002)

Otherwise, if there is complete bifurcation and many resulting missed connections, they should charge a subway fare from Brooklyn to Jamaica to placate customers, accept Unlimited Metrocard, and mandate use of platform machines to get a "ticket" subject to random inspection, similar to SBS bus service.

With thru service, who knows.
