The video is on Twitter as well. Many in the thread think in was intentional, either a suicide or lawsuit scam attempt.

Honestly looks like she did it on purpose. She patiently waited inside the gates waited for the train to come and drove in front of it. As if she knew if she just parked on the track the train would stop by hitting her.

I agree. Why would anybody go under a closing gate? That's attempted suicide in my book.

People go around closed gates all the time. What's unusual here is that she waited, until just before the train came, before pulling forward.

But note that when she first pulled under the closed gate, there was a car ahead of her immediately beyond the tracks. So there was no place to go. Then the traffic under the tracks clears. A few seconds later she seems to notice and think, aha, I can pull forward now. It seems like she forgot that maybe by now a train might be coming.

Didn't even look down the tracks for a train.

Some people believe in alternate forms of logic, like our Congress-grifter "You just pay for it".
Assuming that $200K or so of ER patching up continues her presence on earth, this lady will learn NOTHING. She'll insist that she got hit because of 'bad luck', perhaps mewling that "everyone else made it through, it was just luck the train hit meeee".

intentional ?? kind of hard to plan to be first in line at crossing, and to have traffic blocking you at exit point of crossing. and then to have train hit passenger side ??

If a person was that good in planning a suicide would they have not chosen to have drivers side hit ?

No, she squeezed under the gaate when she did not have to Traffic was well clear for several seconds before the train arrived, she could have scooted across with plenty of time to spare. She eased into the train at the last minute.

Nope this one was completely intentional.

Of course on the udder hand, she was in three lanes of traffic in her dierection, she could hardly time the traffic to arrive at that crossing with room and time to spare to squeeze under the gate. So the last imputus may have been random.

LION does not like the way that that white car ahead of her was on the tracks, HE SHOULD HAVE MOVED IS ass and his car out of there even if it meant (and it didn't) shoving another car out of the way.

LIONS like to stay well back from the grade crossings, but there is another factor that you city folk do not have. Mile Long Coal Trains. They have red and white reflectors at the bottom frame of each car. A mile of flashing red and white reflections. They are completely mesmerizing. You look at that and you have on clue as to how far you are from the train. People have driven into the side of moving trains without realizing how close they were to the train. It scares me when I approach such a crossing, especially if I am the first in line. I like to be fully stopped be fore the train enters the crossing, but sometimes you approach the crossing with the train already in it. I look at something other than the train to position mysellf on my side of the gate, and then I put the vehicle in park, and can watch the flashing reflections and enjoy the mesmerizing effect without worry.

I also hit the parking brake and put the trans into park while waiting. It becomes harder to get shoved into the train from a rear-ender than if you simply have your foot on the brake pedal.

I see the video more likely indicating that she wasn't paying attention, and then suddenly she realized there was plenty of room ahead of her, and so she moved forward, completely ignoring the issue of this being a pair of train tracks in front of her.

LION does not like the way that that white car ahead of her was on the tracks, HE SHOULD HAVE MOVED IS ass and his car out of there even if it meant (and it didn't) shoving another car out of the way.

More to the point, no one should ever move forward onto the tracks unless they can see clear to having enough space on the far end for their vehicle. He was also reckless, just lucky.

Add to this is that its probably a quiet crossing, so no horn till actual emergency started (she moved forward)
