Look at the skyscrapers going up in Long Island City. I used to work in LIC in the 1980's and it was all warehouses. After dark it would almost be a ghost town. Now its becoming a chic community, with rents to match.AOC would have done well to keep her big yap shut and let Amazon move to LIC. When the Citicorp Center was built in LIC, it started the neighborhood up the road to prosperity. Amazon would have solidified that. AOC isn't a smart as she thinks she is. |
