The Tunnelrat Was Right, It's An Early Spring |

Posted by IRTRedbirdR33 on Fri Mar 15 08:50:02 2019 Way back in early February our good friend the Tunnelrat emerged from his underground bunker at 76th Street and di not see his shadow. This forecasted an early spring. This put him into agreement with the groundhog from Kansas, Punxsutawney Phil. This was remarkable in itself because those two seldom agree on anything. Nevertheless we are looking at sixty degree temperatures today. Usually St. Patrick's Day brings cold and rain if not snow. Larry, RedbirdR33 |

Living in New York, I refer to Staten Island Chuck as "the local rodent" - and Punxsutawney Phil, based on his fame across the country, as "the national rodent."Even though it's supposed to be 64 or 65 today, it should be about 50 for tomorrow's St. Patrick's Day Parade - and in the 40's Sunday. |
