Rode a 160 on the E...then a 68 on the D.
BIG DIFFERENCE.
Id rather ride an NTT than the old SMEE cars that are tuned down.

Nerfed R68s are particularly shitty.

Nerfed other old trains (sans R46s) are not too bad.

Yeah.
Any B train I rode on the Brighton that was 68 was a slow crapfest.
I REALLY REALLY MISS THE OLD DAYS when those trains actually were Respected and respectable.

they really let the 68's go down hill from the start.
They were a few weeks old when the vandals started scratching the windows. It was easy since they were polycarbonate.
Then the TA started using glass. I think the 68A came in with glass.
THe glass scratching led to the acid. THen they ran out of room to scratch on the glass, so they started scratching up the interiors.
By 2008 the TA replaced all the glass and installed the protective screens. THey never dud anything about the scratched walls. Now the vandals are actually applying several strokes to let their scratched tags stand out.
