Politicians gotta get their licks in.

I'll get them some Tootsie Rolls from the cat's litter box. She always seems to have extras.

I remember coming back in the family car (Studebaker) from visiting my mother's cousin somewhere in Flushing. We'd take Horace Harding for part of the way. I remember riding through the Flushing Meadow Park area, during maybe 1956 or '57. Going east, the road, too a long downards incline, where he park was on both sides. Horace Harding seemed enormously wide as a kid, when I looked out the car windows. I also remember the road being full of potholes.

As it is, I am boycotting what used to be the Triboro Bridge on account of its unfortunate name. I'd hate to have to boycott an entire parkway or expressway. We have enough things named after rotten politicians. Name Chambers Street subway station on the J after the next politician who needs an ego boost. (back on topic, thanks, kid-- ed.)

Roads and bridges and streets have been named and renamed for a hundred years. Who cares. The TZ was the Malcolm Wilson TZ since 94. So what.
