I believe it was previously announced (at the Dec meeting of the NJT Board) that they won, this was the actual signing of the contract.

Reputation for orders delivered late.

The Toronto Flexity cars are years late with quality control problems.

Now the R179's are late with problems too. Air compressors, doors, air conditioning, barrier spring hardware separating from the car bodies.
