"99.9 percent of subway trains in Hong Kong arrive on time, with trains usually running every 2-4 minutes." Well, isn't that nice. |

The 99.9% is obviously fictional, reading through there report I was unable to find how lateness is measured. But when broken down by Train Journey the on time percentage drops to the low-mid 90s depending on the line. But with a 2-4 minute headway trains being 1-3 intervals behind isn't noticeable. I'm not sure how this would be the "worst delay ever" when the MTR has shut down several times, the last year I saw in English they had multiple hour(s) long stoppages and still boasted 99.9% OTP...somehow. |
