Do any people here know anything more about this project? Are there any pictures anywhere? Finally, did the MTA ever make a formal announcement or send a press release saying that they didn't plan to bring back the service? Thanks.  |

I have that very same map at home, where they promised to restore express service. And no, I do not recall any formal announcement that it wasn't coming back.I'm sure there were internal memoranda, and maybe some sort of formal notice in the State Register. But they certainly seemed to have tried to keep it real quiet. |
