ok, so it is off topic.

It is still funny. At least all of the monks thought so.


The Bishop was at a near by parish for confirmations.
A girl in a light flowing dress danced her way down the isle
bringing the gifts to the altar

The Bishop leans over to the pastor,
"If she asks for your head on a platter I'll give it to her."

How old is confirmation? 14? 15? If I'm reading this right, the gist of the comment is that the bishop finds the girl's dance to be sexually arousing, and so is comparing it to the infamous "Dance of the Seven Veils". Probably not the smartest thing to admit to in today's climate. Especially not in a way that suggests (however jokingly) a willingness to commit murder.

It's a joke, in fairly poor taste given the pedophilic tendencies of some clergy that have been revealed in recent years. It seems unlikely that a bishop would actually make the quoted remark.
