I’m almost 72, and some people can’t even believe some of the things about the transit system that I tell them and I only go back to the 1950s. Fortunately, I also had the opportunity to befriend many employees who worked for the private companies prior to unification so I was able to hear the stories about the NYCTS in the good old days. |

Much too soon.
