I spotted a set of M2s in service southbound at 125th at ~18:40. I'm guessing it was train 1477 running a bit late but I never managed to check. I was surprised to see it, though, since I'd thought the M2s had been consigned to a handful of peak runs; I didn't realise they turned back and ran reverse-peak. Might I potentially see one off-peak?
I saw another set of M2s deadheading to Grand Central shortly after it passed, but I don't know anything about it.
I also spotted an Amtrak train with a MARC cab car. I'd thought those had stopped running this week.
And I spotted a set of M8s on a Yankee Stadium shuttle. Is that relatively common?
