I had thought for Orange M train, the 10 car punch box was blanked for Essex Street.

So far all we have is this shot from the roof F&S Pizza's surveillance camera.

I haven’t been there for a while but it may be possible that the 8 and 10 car marks are at the same place as is the case at many stations.

Not at Broadway Lafayette station, where the button would be pushed. The one at the 10 car marker deliberately does NOT have a button for the connector to the J/M line. I've seen videos on YouTube from the southbound RFW proving this.

I go to Broadway/Lafayette frequently; that neutered punch box will be interesting to see-- and it makes so much sense that one would expect that no one would have thought of it.

OK, thanks. As I mentioned, I haven’t been there for a while so I can’t recall the arrangement. I do know that at Court St N/B the Nassau punch at the 10 car mark is disabled.
