All joking aside, it's awful up here in Orange County. I work in Chester and just after 4 you'd think a hurricane had hit. There are trees down all over the place.

Important Update....Franklin Shuttle Suspended....Re: Storm Causes MetroNorth Service Suspension

Posted by heypaul on Tue May 15 20:58:07 2018, in response to Re: Storm Causes MetroNorth Service Suspension, posted by Chris R16/R2730 on Tue May 15 18:41:27 2018.

MetroNorth service has been returning to normal. However, downed trees have caused suspension of The Franklin Shuttle. Unfortunately, MetroNorth will not cross honor subway tokens.

Not Fair

Not to be picky...but West Chester is a suburb of Phila.
Westchester is a suburb of NYC.
Unless thats what you were going for originally!

The Traffic/Weather on Sirius XM kept warning that the weather North of the city would be terrible They said Rochester and Putnam, when they meant Westchester, although i can't disagree that Rochester (NY)
is definitely North (and West) of the city.

And SEPTA doesn't even serve West Chester anymore by rail. Dumbest move ever.

It's also north of West Chester and southwest of Southeast.

That Alfred Hitchcock film North By Northwest was not filmed in Southeast. LOL

Re: Storm Causes MetroNorth Service Suspension

Middletown - as always - was pretty good. The corridor from Bloomingburg east thru Newburgh got clobbered - Newburgh is where the two people got killed, one a 12 yr old who was just helping her mother unload groceries from the car, and a woman who just got in her car to go home - very sad. Pine Bush schools are are still closed, with many without power still.

It almost always works like this by the way, storms skipping over Middletown after hitting Sullivan and the area around Pine Bush, then hitting Goshen/Chester....
