Condolences to his family.The employees of CSX are thrilled a new CEO of their company will be appointed. Unfortunately Harrison has uprooted the lives of many current employees and others who have lost their jobs under his watch. There are lots of reports out there of poor service and more late Amtrk trains under his leadership. |

There is a 90 post thread and counting on the Eastern Board of Trainorders. Most are thrilled he is dead. He ruined thousands of people's lives and families in both labor and management. The dispatching office in Selkirk is gone, moved to Jacksonville. They now have local freights switch cars right in front of Amtrak. The Empire and Silver trains are often late.He wanted short term boost to share price, and leaves a mess in his wake. That is what he did at CN and CP. It seems he did not get a physical when hired at CSX. He has had respiratory problems and needed an oxygen tank for some years. Board of Directors wanted him so bad, they bypassed normal HR protocol. Stock price plunged last week when hospitalized and will no doubt plunge tomorrow. They and the shareholders got Satin at employee, management's, and customer's expense, and will now get what they deserve. |

There are too many war stories to count, but here is one to show the evil creature he was :"When EHH was on the Wisconsin Central he happened to walk into a yard office and saw several men standing there passing the BS, and EHH blasted out you men should be working and moving all the time. He immediately ordered the yard office torn down and removed because people were using it as a club house. The men had just finished their tour of duty and were on their own time going home. That disgusting body should be thrown in the rocks in the desert to rot in hell. The earth is to good to receive his body as it will pollute the ground." |
