BART car door failure

Severalweeks ago BART had the 10 car prototype trainset out for a test run w/ CA PUC personnel on board. There were two different failures described in detail in the document referenced below

BART would have to buy new trucks -- to fit the notorious 5'6" guage tracks.

From the document, it looks like fail-safe items did their job. I've seen rumors that December 15 is the date that the new trains on BART will go into revenue service. Wait and see.
