Trolleys, Elevated, and Subway on the bridge, and still a South Driveway. Where would all these things go on the bridge deck?

Only 6 lanes of traffic now, and the walkway up above... Not a lot of room for all those tracks.

They had room. In reality, the trolleys shared one of the two open lanes of traffic with vehicles. The trolley terminated under the El terminal.

The subway connection was built on trackways outboard from the el tracks, close to Park Row terminal. The trolleys and road traffic lanes simply moved over.

There was an era when road traffic didn't claim primacy over everything else.
