Nice repaint job. though it was in Brooklyn. The last few photos indicates otherwise.

You're right. I think he has a place in Warwick, NY, where he has a lot of railroad and subway stuff.

Very nice. I miss Golden's. Staten Island needs a good Jewish Deli now that they are gone.

I'm guessing the car was used on trips for a while since it did have the newer rollsign in it.

Schaffer's Tavern at Bradley/Victory was a good substitute (didn't even pretend to be kosher, but their corned beef and pastrami were to die for) until recently. Alas...

Not exactly Wally. Look at the older images in this post when this car was at Golden's Deli. Two signs - AA Bway - Lafayette were scotch taped to the glass. There were sign boxes back then. It looks like he came upon two sign boxes. The one with the newer sign must have come out of an R-27/30.

This car was not on any trip or fan trip. To begin with, it's 2/3's of a car. This car was used as a locker room for the scrappers employees when cars were scrapped in Coney Island yard back around 1980 or so.
