They have a transfer to both a (5) and a (2) after getting off the (5) shuttle (which really should be extended to Bowling Green to fill the gap in (5) service between E 180 St and Bowling Green) |

I doubt they both came from Dyre Ave. Three minutes apart? More likely from White Plains Road, or one was simply a put-in from 180th. This was at 4:00 am, so 20-minute headways are the norm at that hour. |

The shuttle came from Dyre, they had a choice of a (5) and a (2) both coming from 241. The last (5) to Manhattan before the (2) starts running to Brooklyn again. White Plains Road riders had a direct choice of both Manhattan trunks, Dyre riders had a quick transfer to either trunk from a shuttle. |
