Those are great shots! No. 8. is the Alton Giant. Robert Wadlow was 8 ft 11.1 in. tall and weighed 490 pounds. He was 22 years old when he died.

Picture 21 was printed with the negative backwards. Notice how all the print in the station sign and the soda boxes is reversed.

Picture 21 is at Prospect Park on the Brighton on a day the Brighton-Franklin was running to Coney.

Poor old Wadlow. Lot of health problems including autoimmune disorders that didn't allow his fatal infection to be treated. Wore a size 37 shoe.

At least they identified the picture properly - a lot of places somehow identify it as the first run!

Oops, nice catch on Photo 21, it was printed backwards.
