Posted by TransitChuckG on Mon Jan 23 16:47:31 2017 Travel Alert:Amtrak service is suspended, Philadelphia to NYC. NJ Transit NEC service suspended completely. NJCL service suspended NYC to Long Branch. Wires are down in the Linden area on the NEC, severing service. |

The (unconfirmed) report I read said it was commercial power lines down on the track, not the catenary, but it still stops service. Might be a quicker fix though. |
