Sometimes plans do change last minute. The MTA can say one thing and that be the plan and it could easy change last minute depending on the situation an logistics. For example last yr it was decided the G line was going all R160. The date was set and G crews were told to make sure they're 160 qualified. And guess what last minute the big wigs who make such decisions changed their minds last minute. It happens |

The first N/B train was held at 63rd Street/Lex because the first southbound train was wrong railing from 96th to south of 72nd Street. There were two S/B put-ins on Track 1, one at 86th Street and the other at 72nd Street which went into service shortly after the 1203 from 96th Street. |

That was because the R68/68A is a 75' car and the R160 is a 60' 6" car. When they got to stations with monitors, the 30" difference put them off the monitors. So it was decided rather than move the monitors or move the 6 car stop marker, just leave everything alone. |

In a 5 car R160 the c/r is operating out of the 5th car, whereas a 10 car R 160 F rerouted via the G the c/r is operating out of the 6th car.Some of the monitors are not wide, so 5th car or 6th car can make a difference in seeing the monitor or not. |
