Saw a North bound N via 6th ave this morning around 1045.There was an incident at Times Square .The signs stated it was going to 71 continental.The following N train stated over the PA that 21st Queensbridge would be the last stop.

That would also mean that if there is a delay on Bway, the Q will be able to be rerouted up 6 Ave to get to the SAS.

Heh. This could be a dream come true for Wally.

Broadway express track is blocked. So send N trains up 6th and over to Continental. Send Qs up 6th and then up to 96th. And then because the Ns can't get to Astoria, send the Rs there. And because 6 Ave local track is now too crowded, send M trains to 9 Ave Brooklyn.

It actually does that every time there is a major problem that can't be solved by a reroute.

It will give Control Center a lot of options for re-routes during service interruptions with trains still being able to terminate at the proper location.
