But if they are short personnel, there will still be problems.Then the Philadelphia Enquirer will have a story on how much money the engineers made in 2016. From what I understand those engineers make much less per hour than other railroads compared to this area. So train, put in a couple of years and go elsewhere. So the shortage continues unless they hire and train many more than needed. |
