For one thing, I don't also have to pay Amtrak fares and maybe hotel bills to schlepp to Albany, Philly, or Washington to ride it.I also know how to work the NJT fare structure legally and without hiding from conductors to travel round trip to Newark on a one way incremental fare (by rotating travel among separate lines with inter-line tickets). |

There will probably be one ticket appearing Sunday morning at about 5AM. In an effort to save money I won't be getting a hotel in NYC. So, if/when I oversleep that morning, I'll be cancelling at around that time. |

Saturday Homer is making the trip here from Jersey to shoot around the Reading area. The sun will determine where we go & the route (around vs. through Reading) will determine the stops. We'll shoot some NS action after the special passes then pop over to Elizabthtown for the return then try to catch it again below Lancaster after the photo stop.Sunday I have a rigorous photo shoot itinerary scheduled... Start at Branchburg NJ then hot foot it to the Vultee St. crossing in Allentown. Roll west on 78 to PA72 & either Lebanon or Annville. Next up is the turn at Harrisburg then east on the PA Turnpike to the Corridor area around Levittown but I'm toying with the idea of trying to get to the big bridge at Coatsville. |
