2022 is 6 long years away,
meanwhile you can S-T-I-L-L but a single ride "ticket" from a MVM or a two ride MC with cash at the Token Booth.

"The MTA aims to save about $6 million yearly through getting rid of MetroCards."

...

"...system is estimated to cost about $619 million..."

Pays for itself in 103 years. Sounds legit to me.

Heh. MTA math. :)

System's been around for over 100 years, who's to say it won't be for another?

Because the system will be much more robust than what PATH has.
