That trolley was operated by the Great Northern Railway rather than Dublin United Transport Company, or successor Córas Iompair Éireann.Interestingly, there's now a movement afoot by Fingal County Council to try and rebuild the trolley in some form. A lot of the old dedicated right of way is still intact, although the bridge over Harbour Road would need to be replaced. |
