I'm a sucker for these postcard views.One thing that gets me is how much of this railroad is now rail-trailed between Trenton and Phillipsburg; it used to be part of the PRR's main route into northeastern PA as well as to connect with the Lehigh & Hudson River, which went to the Poughkeepsie Bridge and was once the main route between Philly and Boston for several railroads. |
