Posted by caine515 on Fri May 27 09:42:58 2016 I was curious of the status of the R179 cars. Could a burn set be here before the opening of the 1st half of the second avenue subway and if so,what line would it test on? I haven't heard a word. |

The Pilot Train was "rumored" to arrive this week, but haven't seen or heard anything as of yet...Wouldn't know when the train would actually go on the road, Car Equipment has to familiarize itself with the mechanics of the 179's. -Stef |

I heard somewhere issues regarding the R160 cars via Broad Channel but even if this was so, have the R160 assigned to "A" Lefferts Boulevard stretch. |

What if a train broke down in a position to make the lefferts branch useless?If it runs on the A, it should run everywhere the A goes. |
