The Dey St passageway from the Fulton St Transit Center to the R train at Cortlandt St opened in Nov. 2014. Now, people will be able to use the corridor to get from Broadway and Fulton St to Church St and the WTC without having to cross any streets or pay a fare, which should be especially useful in inclement weather. |

This afternoon they had the new signs up, with some covered and others having blue tape covering parts not opening until tomorrow.All the construction walls were still up, but lots of activity was going on around them. I could be wrong, but it looks like they might have the elevators at the 4WTC entrance and between the oculus and PATH Hall fare control open tomorrow. |

The Gimbels Passageway ran under 32nd St. (or was it 33rd?) from 7th Ave. to 6th. The passageway under 6th Ave. (35th to 40th Sts.) had no particular name. |

It would have been interesting if it had been done as some had thought originally where you could entirely inside the fare zone walked between Chambers and Church Streets on the (A) / (C) and Fulton and William Streets on the (2) / (3), including being able to walk between two separate stations on each of those lines withing the same fare encasement. |
