Photos from the parking garage across the street from 30th Street Station.Holiday Extra train 1141  train 143 with America's Railroad Salutes Our Veterans motor   Holiday Extra train 1054   train 91 Silver Star  train 43 Pennsylvanian with seven cars instead of the usual six departing for Pittsburgh  Holiday Extra train 1057   train 20 Crescent with five coaches   Keystone Service train 615 with seven cars instead of the usual five  train 140  Holiday Extra train 1099   Keystone Service train 665 with seven cars  train 42 Pennsylvanian with seven cars

Slightly off topic, I rode #80 home on Saturday. From WAS north , our conductor was John Riccardi, we had a nice chat. Because of possibilities of heavy homebound travel from WAS north, a special bulletin made our train stops an "S" stop instead of a "D", which is normal for #80. No crowds showed up, but we held at each station for the schedule departure time.I was pleased when we got to PHL at 7:05 , right on the money. |
