That might be the plan right now, to have it on some sort of a static display. There's still a long way to go. Gomaco Trolley Company has MV101 motors (Metropolitan Vickers) for it's replica trolleys. Maybe the museum could acquire some down the road to make 983 an operating car.They also have CP27 compressors, while not realistic to the Arnines, having an imagination is good in that situation. |

That shouldn't be too hard, but they'll need 600 DC for that.It looks like they might have already gone Goldens Deli style in a previous photo where they had the car sorta lit up, I imagine by rewiring the lighting circuits for 110 AC; but getting the air for the doors will need 600 volts to the compressors. |
