I think I might have seen someone get this at 110th/Lenox yesterday, but I wasn't sure if the transaction was a refill or a new card.Looks like I have an ideal replacement for my expiring MetroCards. |

Keep one thing in mind (and I found this out recently) - a MVM will only allow for 2 replacement cards within a short period of time (not specified). If you were to put in a 3rd expiring card right after doing the 2nd one, the MVM will make that card invalid and not give you a new one. |

What?I've at times traded in between 50 and 80 cards at a time at one machine, and they've all returned valid cards. That said, I only have a few with 7/31/15 or earlier as their expiration date. |

Well, after I did 2 at a MVM at 34th-Penn, the next 4 cards (which were still valid) came back as either invalid MetroCard or Not eligible for refill.Maybe the MTA is starting to catch on. |

It is also at 34th Street-Herald Square in most if not all of the machines near the booth near the stairs by Macy's and Herald Center (N506) on the west side of 34th & 6th/Broadway (including MVM 1428, MEM 5529, MEM 5608, and MVM 5520). I found mostly "If you see something, say something cards at 34th & 7th (east side) and 33rd & 7th (upper level, east side), while the lines at the lower level at 33rd & 7th were too long this morning. I'm still searching for the NYU Lutheran card, which was reported to be at 34th & 7th station. |
