Thanks for the pics!

Good to see it's still there - it's even been painted some. Hasn't changed much in the 10-15 years since I first saw it.

I would see this often when I was in high school some ten years ago. Never thought much of these until I learned what this was. Glad this relic still stands.

Did you check out the ROW south of there, the stone blocks about where the Yonkers branch split off, and the milepost further north? Interesting that some of the wood and spikes were still there!

Didn't get a chance to see much south of that. But I certainly do remember the milepost up north - I might've taken a photo of it sometime ago. Last I walked along the trail was probably some three years ago with a friend who works with the National Park Service out west. Pretty nice walk along that trail. The ties I remember were still around in some areas.
