No streetcars were actually running yesterday. I saw a paint crew laying down markings
on the new asphalt that now surrounds the concrete trackbeds. All the stations now have railings and at least the framework of the shelters. They still need signs and (I guess) benches and some cleanup.

The connecting track from the light rail line runs through a pedestrian area on the north side of Fifth St. A ground-level signal protects the junction. The yellow raised "pathway," complete with a track crossing, must be for the visually impaired.

The Arena station has separate inbound and outbound platforms, separated by the intersection at Brevard St. Cars will reverse on a center pocket track behind us.

The Davidson station is a single platform in front of the police headquarters.

The tracks separate to make room for left-turn lanes.

The CPCC station has a bike lane running behind it.

The Travis station, next to last before the end of the line, serves a cluster of shops and restaurants.
