Brighton Work

For the past several months there have been midday and weekend GOs on the Brighton line shifting routes between the local and express tracks. In fact, this weekend is the first in quite a while that there haven't been any changes. What work is being done?

Last weekend there was a section of track being replaced between Avenues H and J.

I think the weekend G.O. prior to that was for graffiti removal at Murrow High, and the electric substation at Kings Highway.

I saw a work train near Avenue H (was at street level, so couldn't see what was going on), so that makes sense for last weekend. Thanks.
