R142 and R142A cars interior strip map update?
Posted by GOlD_12tH on Sat Jan 31 22:39:42 2015 edf40wrjww2msgDetail:detailStr fiogf49gjkf0d I rode a 4 train today and it seems the strip maps have replaced with the new ones that has corrected transfers and ADA stickers. They finally replace the old ones and at the rate they keep adding a layer of stickers, they don't look neat or organized. The new strip maps still cover one very small spot on the bottom of Utica Av stop.... "B46 SBS?" Hopefully they replace the 2 and 5 strip maps especially the 2 which turn brown color on some cars.

I have been noticing FIND on some L trains recently. Perhaps they are being renovated or R160s get swapped in when R143s are under repair.

Had no idea. Now I'm going to be on the lookout -- do they tend to run mostly at rush or not? The R143s have such a distinctive look to them, I think just because of how they've aged. Also, those digital ad panels. "Did you ever think you'd be able to charge a subway ride?" Well, as a matter of fact, I was kind of banking on being able to do so...
