Virginia Trains |
|
Posted by jabrams on Tue Jan 27 11:44:27 2015 ABC-TV has a scrolling message "No Virginia Trains will be running North of NYC". Can someone explain what that means? |

But since it is supposed to be something meaningful, perhaps it means that no Amtrak trains from points south of DC will be continuing north of NYC (to New Haven or Boston). What trains, if any, would normally do so? |

There are a bunch of Amtrak Northeast Corridor trains that originate in Virginia go through Penn and end up in Boston. They are terminating at Penn. They usually change from diesel to electric in Washington and are part of the BOS-NYP-WAS schedule. |
