The line was originally planned to connect with the LIRR Main Line in Sunnyside Yards, run superexpress along the LIRR to Forest Hills, connect with the Queens Blvd, line, branch off with the Archer Ave line to Jamaica, capture the LIRR Atlantic Branch, and terminate in Rosedale. |

Undoubtedly...At least the lower level LIRR part of the tunnel looks likely to finally be used- 50 years after the plan was conceived and 30 years after the subway portion opened. |

It was 12 years before linkup to Queens Blvd Line. Considering the crowding on the E and F, couldn't they had add an interim frequent bus link between Queen Plaza/Queensboro Plaza and 21st St. It would had run clockwise:West on Queens Plaza North (a stop at Queensboro Plaza between Crescent-27th St) North on 21st St (a stop at 21st St Queensbridge) East on 42st Ave North on 29th St East on 40th Rd South on Northern Blvd West on 41st Ave-Bridge Plaza North-Queens Plaza North (a stop at Northern and 41st Ave) |

It wouldn't have been a problem if they had built the Northern Blvd station, which would have had transfer connections to QBL. |
