Tuscarora Almanac - October 24, 1920 - The Book of First Runs

The IRT Pelham Line is extended from East 177 Street to Westchester Square. Stations are opened at Castle Hill Avenue, Zerega Avenue and Westchester Square - East Tremont Avenue.

Did the yard open at the same time?

Wayne: The Westchester Square Yard did not open until July, 1927. Prior to that there was a temporary two track inspection shed near the Whitlock Avenue station.

Which means Middletown Road, Buhre Avenue, and Pelham Bay Park stations opened on December 20, 1920.

I believe that I have seen photos of that structure but I can't remember where.
