If it says 6-8 minutes, it means sometimes in the relevant time period they comes 6 minutes apart, sometimes 8, or sometimes 7.If it says 2-3 minutes it means 2, 3 or 2.5 minutes apart, most likely 2.5 as the official schedules do have intervals spaced in half-minutes at times. |

The Brooklyn R train shuttle (95th-Court) had 7.5 minute rush-hour headways for the past year. For example, it left 95th at 8:03:00am, 8:10:30am, 8:18:00am, etc. That is how the schedule was written. |
