One-seat rail is convenient, but 52 minutes to downtown Dallas isn't fast. Last summer I rode the Orange line out to the then-terminal at Belt Line. After the University of Dallas, trains crawl through Las Colinas Urban Center along a boulevard lined with apartments/condos, then take a twisty route with sharp curves the rest of the way to Belt Line. |

Dallas already was very visitable. Great light rail system, the Trinity Railway Express is a fun ride, and then there's real vintage car service with McKinney Avenue Transit Authority. On my list of places to visit next year. |

It has enough since it's not a one line wonder, and if I was bored, I could always tag a trip down I-45 to combine it with Houston. Mind you, for a bit more money, I could go to LA and throw in San Diego as a bonus. Or I could wait and save up for a European system with even more trains... :-)But at least I don't have to blow money on a taxi to avoid riding a bus :-p |

Technically you can ride the Orange Line from Midway to the Orange line at Love Field. DART's Orange line stops at Inwood/Love Field Station. Route 524 provides the connection into Love Field from the Rail Station. |
